In collaboration with the Inter Agency Group of Development Organisations (IAGDO), the Barbados-based Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) hosted a national three-day workshop in Grenada from July 20^th to 22^nd, 2022 focused on “Financial Management for NGOs”.

Funded by the European Union, the workshop was part of a wider initiative which is currently being implemented by CPDC, to strengthen the capacity of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Barbados and across the Eastern Caribbean.

The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Damani Brizan, a certified accountant with management experience of both non-governmental and financial organisations. The workshop provided participating NGOs with the knowledge required to improve their current financial reporting and management systems, with specific emphasis on increasing their capacity to navigate the COVID-19 environment.
