From March 16th to 18th 2021, regional dialogues were held under the project “Enhancing Caribbean Civil Society’s Access and Readiness for Climate Finance”. It was co-facilitated by CANARI and the technical partners, Climate Analytics and the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD).
This regional dialogue, which was hosted virtually, brought together key stakeholders in the Caribbean – including national designated authorities, accredited entities, funders, technical agencies and CSOs – and international partners to discuss and explore options for accessing climate finance with a focus on civil society’s role and capacity, expanding multi-stakeholder engagement in climate decision-making, and leveraging partnerships to realise national and regional climate ambitions.
